How credits work

Transparent numbers, no fine print.

What does a credit cost?

1 credit = 1 character of text. At 800 characters per minute of speech, the Pro plan works out to roughly 25 hours of audio a month for $99.

Do unused credits roll over?

Monthly plan credits reset each paid cycle (no rollover). Top-up credits are a separate pool that lasts 12 months. Use them after the monthly pool runs out.

Is streaming or WebSocket extra?

No. Streaming, realtime WebSocket, PCM/MP3/Opus output and all 29 voices are included in every paid plan.

Is my audio stored?

Audio files are never stored. Every generation is streamed straight back to you. Transcripts are kept in your account history by default so you can re-fetch, review, or delete them; pass enable_logging=false on any request for zero retention.
